Here at Arc Cardinal, we are extremely conscious of our responsibility of maintaining and growing our sustainability efforts. Our initiatives to date have placed us at the front of the industry, with our strong focus on the environment, our employees and our community.

In November of 2011, ARC International announced a major project in this effort and officially broke ground on a new emissions control system that will greatly reduce carbon emissions that commonly occur with natural gas furnaces. But ARC International did not just meet the standard emissions requirements – we surpassed what the EPA and DEP require and will now be the “cleanest” glassware manufacturer in the world.

All three of the furnaces located at the Millville, NJ facility have been fitted with the new filter systems and every glass product that rolls off one of the 22 lines can boast it is the environmentally cleanest in the world. The project cost an estimated $40 million and not only increased capacity but created additional U.S. jobs.
